B. RULES & REGULATIONS
All players must check in at the designated time by the Organiser. Teams not present within the specified time will be deemed to have automatically forfeited participation right in the competition.
Each person can only participate in one team and participate in the region that matches their birthplace or place of residence.
Each team needs a minimum of five players and can register up to six players. One of the players on the field is designated as the captain and one is designated as the substitute. If a team has only five members, it is considered that there is no substitute. In the case of reviewing the substitute, only five persons will be counted. The roster is subject to the offline sign-up list.
The winning teams of the qualifiers have to submit their valid identity documents to prove that they are an eligible player for the specific game region. If any team member is unable to provide the identity on time or cannot prove that his/her place of birth or place of residence matches the region, the team might be disqualified and replaced by the next ranking team.
Offline sign-up must be registered with an ID card or other valid identity document at the finals in Hong Kong.
Team members must not be staff, personnel, agents or contractors of the Organiser and/or CGA throughout the competition period.
King Glory Professional League KPL team members are not allowed to participate in the ‘Honor of Kings’ EMFHK Invitational.
Competition machines, competition server and networks:
During the qualifiers, the players will use their own equipment and network. It is recommended that the player bring their own Wi-Fi.
The finals are executed as follows:
All competitions are 5v5 Kings Canyon Calling Mode.
The outcome of the match is determined by the system.
Top 64 to 16 will apply a Bo1, top 8 to final will apply a Bo3.
The referee will flip a coin to determine sides, the winner opens the room and is on the upper side of the room, the other team is on the lower side of the room, the two teams will switch sides after each game.
Opening a room and entering the room must be efficient; teams must act within 3 minutes after referee makes decision. If the team fails to do so it is considered a waiver.
The gamer shall not intentionally quit the game throughout the competition. If this occurs, the offender shall be deemed to have abstained from the game.
If there are players abstaining from participating with the team and the number of participants is less than five, the team will be disqualified.

collusion competition, split bonuses in advance, exploit loopholes, sneak peeks, unauthorised substitution, cheat, interfere, verbal abuse, physical abuse, insults (including opponents, organiser, live audiences etc), broadcast interference, illegal crimes, etc. CGA has the right to impose penalties on players and their teams. Penalties include, but are not limited to verbal warnings, fines and/or forfeiture of bonuses, waiver, suspension, and disqualification.
After the start of the game, in the event of a disconnection, abnormal account, abnormal device, server crash, etc the player must immediately inform the referee and the referee will pause the game. Once the abnormality ends and after the referee informs both parties, the referee ends the pause and the game continues.
If players pause or cancel the game without the permission of the referee, it will be considered as an act that affects the fairness of the game. CGA has the right to impose penalties on players and their teams.
If the game cannot be paused and cannot continue normally, referee can decide that the game needs to be restarted. Both teams need to use the normal room directly, select the same champions, summoner skills etc to enter the game. If there is a secret change, the team will be disqualified.
CGA has the right to arbitrate according to the situation of the competition.
Authority pausing mechanism:
The competition authority player may apply to the referee for pausing in the following circumstances. However, the referee must be notified after the pausing and the reasons should be explained.
Acceptable reasons include:
Unpausing the game must be approved by a referee and occur after all players have been informed and prepared. In particular, after the captain has spoken to all players in the game to make sure both parties are ready to continue the game, the observers in the client will unpause the game.
Unauthorised pausing. If the player has not obtained the official permission to pause or unpause the game, it will be considered as an act affecting the fairness of the game. The team will be penalised.
